Out of Zone Enrolments
Out-of-zone places, where available, are offered according to the following priorities:
Priority 1: Special Programmes approved by the Secretary of Education (this does not apply to our school)
Priority 2: Siblings of current students
Priority 3: Siblings of former students
Priority 4: Children of board employees
Priority 5: All other applicants
Where the number of students exceeds the places available, a ballot will be held from the group with the lowest priority according to the rules set down by the Secretary of Education.
Please ensure that all the required documentation is included in your application. There is a list of this documentation on the enrolment form.
Out of Zone enrolments must be lodged by Thursday 23rd September 2010. The ballot date for selection, set down by the Ministry of Education, is Wednesday 20th October 2010.
Out of Zone applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of the ballot by Tuesday 26th October 2010.
Please fill in the attached Student Medical Form and send it in with the enrolment form.
Please complete this form if you have an affiliation with any Maori iwi in New Zealand.
